AGI Glaspac was established in 1972 to manufacture high quality glass containers that would meet stringent quality standards, for packaging requirments. The company’s factory is located in South-Central India, close to raw-material sources and to fast growing markets. Since its inception, AGI has built an excellent reputation for quality and caters to a large and demanding customer base, with a product range that covers Flint, Amber and Green containers. The company’s manufacturing facilities are among the most modern in the country, and enable AGI to achieve high levels of productivity and quality. Key is its automatic bottle making machines that are completely computer controlled, and impart a high level of reliability, accuracy and consistency to machine operation and production quality. Further, large high-volume, bottle making lines are provided with automatic Inspection Machines imported from reputed manufacturers in the U.S. These machines automatically reject bottles with even a minute crack in critical areas; and ensure consistency of top sealing surfaces and bore size, to close tolerances.

AGI also has the distinction of designing and producing new products for some of its key customers, in as short a period as one week. This is possible because of its state-of-the-art CAD/CAM facilities; team of highly skilled designers; and dedicated product development engineers and technicians. Furthermore, AGI has an excellent source to supply its inputs and has modernized the critical parts of processes, enabling its operations to be computer controlled. Its glass melting furnaces, such as the Flint furnace is fully state-of-the-art (300 tons of glass is controlled within + 30 microns variation), designed and built by SORG, Germany, the world leaders in glass furnace technology.
